ATOLLs Project - Living conditions in two Polynesian islands. Family organisation, solidarity and social relations, access to public services

The Institute of Statistics of French Polynesia (ISPF) and the National Institute of Demographic Studies (INED) are continuing their research work, begun in 2019, to better understand living conditions and lifestyles in French Polynesia.

More specifically in 2022, at the end of October and beginning of November, we will be present on two islands:
- to present the results of the Feti’i e Fenua survey, on the family and the Polynesian territory, in which some of you participated in 2019-2020, as well as the "Le Collège Et Moi" survey conducted among 9th grade students in all the islands;
- to meet and discuss with islanders about living conditions, friendships and family relationships, economic and social activities, celebrations, solidarity, access to public services, needs, etc., that make up daily life on these islands.

This work concerns two atolls and will provide unique elements for understanding the ways of life.

Thank you in advance for your welcome!
